Title: Project Manager - Messaging and Collaboration Location: Santa Clara, CA (Onsite) Duration: Long term Must Have Skills Skill 1 Project Manager - Messaging and Collaboration Skill 2 - At least five years of experience in project management, preferably in the IT domain Skill 3 Strong knowledge of the project management methodologies, tools, and best practices JD: A challenging and rewarding role for a skilled and experienced project manager who can lead and coordinate the delivery of messaging and collaboration solutions for a large and diverse organization. Certification in project management, such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile, is an asset. As a project manager for the messaging and collaboration team, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring the projects that involve email and collaboration tools like Exchange Online, MS Teams, automation tools like Power Platform, and core applications like MS Copilot, Adobe Acrobat, and web browsers. You will work closely with the business stakeholders, the IT team, and the vendors to ensure that the projects meet the objectives, scope, budget, and timeline. You will also manage the risks, issues, and changes that may arise during the project lifecycle. The project manager will also oversee the budget, schedule, scope, quality, and risks of the projects and report on the project status and performance to senior management and stakeholders. Responsibilities

• Define the project objectives, scope, deliverables, and milestones in collaboration with the end user computing team and the business stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain the project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations using appropriate project management tools and methodologies.
• Coordinate and communicate with the project team members, the IT infrastructure team, the IT security team, and the business stakeholders to ensure that the project requirements are met and the project issues are resolved.
• Manage the project execution, monitoring, and control processes, including the change management, risk management, quality management, and communication management processes.
• Ensure that the project deliverables are tested, validated, and approved by the end user computing team, the IT security team, and the business stakeholders.
• Ensure that the project deliverables are deployed, transitioned, and supported by the end user computing team and the IT infrastructure team.
• Prepare and present the project status and performance reports, including the project progress, issues, risks, and lessons learned, to the senior management and the project stakeholders.
• Conduct the project closure and evaluation activities, including the project documentation, feedback, and improvement recommendations. Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or related field.
  • At least five years of experience in project management, preferably in the IT domain.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex and large-scale projects involving email and collaboration tools and applications used by thousands of people every day
  • Strong knowledge of the project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
