Job Description
This is a unique opportunity to take leading role in establishing Marketing Strategy & Infrastructure in the Americas. The role reports directly to the Director of Field and Partner Marketing with the Field & Partner Marketing organization being part of the Global Marketing & Communications group. This person will lead field and partner marketing activities for the Americas with a large emphasis on North America. This role will be the lead in driving connected Sales and Marketing across all regions of the Americas, ensuring that customer targeting, marketing campaigns, local events, and pipeline development and acceleration activities are highly aligned and customized for each of our sales territories. This role is essential in identifying and assessing potential market opportunities as well as creating marketing programs that raise existing and potential customer/partner perceptions of the value proposition offered by Solidigm solutions. Ultimate success will be measured by new revenue opportunities generated and market share gains.This position will play a key role in developing and executing the marketing strategy at a local level for Solidigm's solutions. You will be the local expert, playing a pivotal role ensuring local requirements and insights are shared with other marketing functions in a timely and insightful manner to assist with program design, resourcing, and budgeting. The successful candidate will build strong relationships with sales and partner leadership across the company and ensure strong linkage between marketing activity and sales success.
Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with multiple sales and marketing stakeholders to develop the local marketing strategy and plan that supports local go-to-market plans and sales growth targets
  • Work with local agencies to design and execute program plans that deliver measurable results
  • Interlock with regional field and channel sales leaders to ensure ongoing agreement on priorities, adjusting to accommodate changing market conditions and emerging opportunities; attend regular sales reviews, pipeline reviews and quarterly business reviews
  • Drive local customer advocacy to support regional and global programs
  • Collaborate with digital team on acquisition and engagement demand programs and ensures final tactic selection is appropriate for program design.
  • Evaluate, select and manage vendors that contribute to local field marketing programs.
  • Track, analyze and report on all local marketing programs, adopting a constant review-learn-improve cycle
  • Ensure all field marketing programs comply with local data privacy regulations
  • Operate and manage your local field marketing budget including direct program and in-direct Market Development Finds (MDF)
  • Assist in the execution of events, including in-person, virtual and hybrid
  • Providing localized guidance to the VP of Field & Partner Marketing and sales leadership on strategic go-to-market opportunities.
    Desired Skills & Experience
    • At least 5 years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in roles with exposure to managing agency partners and the delivery of sales demand
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Good team player, ability to communicate effectively and proactively.
    • Budget planning and operations experience
    • Excellent influencing, communication and presentation skills
    • Self-motivated to achieve business goals, ability & flexibility to adapt to new situation/environment
    • Creativity, outside-the-box thinking for new ways to improve marketing productivity and outcomes
    • Able to quickly establish strong professional relationships with other functions within a complex and diverse organization
    • Having experience in working with regional / global Corporate communication teams or PR agencies to drive local PR would be an advantage.
    • Exposure to Semiconductor or Storage industries or products desired.
    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field.
