A leading cloud-based software company is looking for a social media project manager - Contract Role, Remote - APPLY TODAY!The ideal candidate will strategically steward the brand in social, specifically as it relates to internal project management and operations. They will lead the development of project plans to ensure they are laddering back to our strategic objectives and enabling effective workflow. They will be the backbone of our team by overseeing and implementing the creative timelines for our key content priorities and connecting dots as needed brand creative and resourcing teams. They will oversee the use and optimizations to our global publishing tool. They will also spearhead the global reporting process, collecting data from across the team for bi-monthly reports, and acting as the central resource for report timing and delivery.The ideal candidate will be both a steward and for the internal team, working to ensure the team is on track for their respective projects by developing and owning a master social timeline and proactively communicating gaps or issues. They will support the director of social media, and will partner with them on overall budget management and support in evaluating partner agencies and vendors.This position will work collaboratively across multiple organizations and business partners, from brand, products/solutions, PR, events, talent & employee engagement and other communications teams.Responsibilities:

  • Oversees, develops and implements overall team processes including a master timeline for all content and activations and identifies gaps in and optimizations for existing processes
  • Streamlines, recommends, and implements new work processes as needed and communicates changes to key stakeholders
  • Manages and prioritizes business partner content requests from key stakeholders in the organization and directs them to relevant team members as needed
  • Gatekeeps, enforces and merchandises social strategy and KPIs to ensure adherence to guidelines and processes across the org
  • Owns global reporting, with day-to-day data management support from listening + insights co-op
  • Manages a master status document with inputs from all team members
  • Evaluates successes/challenges within existing tools + platforms (eg. Sprinklr, Teams, Sharepoint) and provides recommendations for optimizations
  • Supports director with budgetary inputs and guidance based on team needs and existing gaps
  • Leads internal stakeholder meetings (statuses, content syncs) and guides team with documented relevant next steps and timing needsRequirements:
    • Previous social and project management experience - knowing how to develop a creative development timeline and manage an overall project timeline
    • Minimum of 7 years of project management experience, ideally with an emphasis on social media projects
    • Experience in B2B social media management is appreciated; agility in hypergrowth environments necessary
    • Budget management, experience in tech or b2b
    • Ability to think quickly and pivot when necessary, to counsel partners and execute plans with a preference for a collaborative work style
    • Resourceful, energetic, solutions-oriented, excellent communication skills, collaborative, always trying to find ways to improve with an empathetic approach to teamwork and management
    • Strategic operations: Collects key inputs from stakeholders to develop operational strategies and leads effective implementation and communication of those strategies
    • Proactive planning: Can see the bigger picture across a variety of team needs and takes initiative to prioritize and plan ahead; moves quickly to seize opportunities; enthusiastically initiates solutions to problems
    • Communicates effectively: Encourages candid & open communication among groups; strong and engaging written and verbal communication skills; keeps others informed
    • Collaboration: Facilitates effective collaboration among coworkers & cross-functionally; builds trusted relationships with the ability to turn conflict into an opportunity to collaborate
    • Decision quality: Considers various inputs, criteria, and trade-offs to arrive at effective decisions
    • Self-development: Continuously improves own leadership capabilities
    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
