end-to-end.The RoleThe Director, Content, Brand and Media is a key
leadership role within Ushur's fast-growing marketing organization.
At its core, this role will own an integrated content, brand and
cross-media marketing strategy that will build on Ushur's current
brand foundation to drive global awareness and category creation
initiatives, competitive differentiation, buyer preference and
intent to purchase within our target markets.This role requires
outstanding skills in cross-functional collaboration, clear,
action-oriented communication and an ability to influence without
authority. In this position, you will not only partner closely with
functional teams within marketing but also work across customer
success, product management, and sales. You will also continually
liaise with and present to the executive leadership. This is a true
ground floor opportunity and will directly report to the
CMO.Responsibilities
- Provide strategic vision, development, planning and execution
leadership for all aspects of content, branding and media
management
- Ideate and create content by building and leveraging a bank of
SME content creators - both internal and external.
- Direct, manage and write specifically crafted long-form and
short-form copy suitable for various social media and digital
channels
- Work with internal stakeholder including all subject matter
experts to develop content for cross-media campaigns and thought
leadership
- Source and manage external talent and agencies on specific
campaigns as well as on an ongoing, retainer basis
- Chart the course for continuous evolution of Ushur's visual
identity and all of its related aspects
- Analyze brand positioning in the market and crystalize customer
insights and feedback to drive messaging and strategic growth
within targeted market segments
- Work with product marketing to develop high performing
marketing campaigns to drive awareness of Ushur portfolio of
platforms, products and solutions
- Measure and track the health of the Ushur strategic brands and
recommend strategies to enhance the overall value and health of
each brand
- Own and manage press and media engagements ranging from working
with our external PR agency on all new press releases to ensuring
executive presence at key media events.
- Craft and execute a cross-media strategy geared towards Ushur's
share of voice across all media to the next level
- Specific strategy for key social media platforms, especially
LinkedIn. Ushur's brand has grown exponentially in stature on
social media. This role will uplevel everything social media to
drive key results
- Oversee the ongoing growth and evolution of Ushur content
strategy and social channels
- Lead creative development with our agency of record to bring
our brand narratives to life
- Measure and report performance of all marketing content, PR,
social and creative services and assess against goals (ROI and
KPIs)
- Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and
competitors' activities to identify opportunities and potential
threats
- Oversee marketing and advertising activities to ensure brand
consistency downstream from distributors to partners, partners to
consumers
- Conduct competitive strategic analysis, consumer segmentation,
and consumer insight development to inform a scalable content
strategy that meets business goals.
- Provide leadership, talent development and coaching to a team
of marketing professionals.Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of content marketing, branding, cross-media
management or related experience
- Local bay area candidates preferred. Candidates outside of
California will not be considered
- Exceptional people and cross-functional communication
skills
- Knowledge of content, brand and marketing strategy in a
fast-moving B2B, enterprise startup technology business
environment
- Deep understanding of marketing metrics and the ability to
apply them to campaigns
- A track record of delivering outstanding tangible results in a
high-performance environment
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or similar; MBA
preferred.

resultsCompensation:The pay range for this position is $180,000 to
$200,000 however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills,
