The Role & The Team

Reporting into the Global Customer Success Ops team, the Education Content Developer will be responsible for developing training content for all of our customers. This person will work with the extended team, product, marketing and support, to gather valuable insights and information to help collate the best training materials possible. Once the material is gathered, the Education Content Developer will utilize their design skills, and the latest tools on the market, to put together interactive content that is engaging and enjoyable for our customers to consume. Most of the content will feature on the company's learning portal, Druva Academy, where customers gain certifications and promote the learnings they have achieved with their friends and colleagues on social media.

As an Instructional Designer you will create learning environments and experiences that are best in class and industry leading. This person will be fluent in current training methodologies and eLearning skills, with a key eye for aesthetics and attention to detail. This role will report directly into the Education Resources lead.

What You Will Do

  • Create and design training content for the Druva Academy
  • Work cross functionally with SMEs and other stakeholders to identify content design/develop new content as well as keep existing content up to date
  • Author content to drive results and KPIs
  • Analyze course feedback and adjust training as needed
  • Self-manage projects with high organization, reportability and accountability, keeping the team abreast of status
    What We Are Looking For
    • 2+ years using course authoring tools (such as Storyline, Adobe Captivate, etc.)
    • Excellent written and overall communication skills
    • Previous experience with SaaS organizations and customer onboarding
    • Proficiency with various LMS systems (Skilljar knowledge a plus)
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills and an understanding of varied learning styles
    • Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders across multiple departments and countries
    • Familiarity with website design, video technology and editing and knowledge of assessment and evaluation methods
    • Self-starter who can work independently
    • Knowledge of CSS and HTML a plus
    • Domain knowledge in storage, data protection and data governance technologies a plus
