Job Description BCBA – Elementary School (In-Person) Middletown,
CT 37.5 hours/week | Monday–Friday (7:00-3:00 w/ 30 minute lunch)
Assignment Dates: Immediate start – June 10, 2026 Employment Type:
W-2 (with great benefits) Pay Rate: $47–$53 per hour (based on
experience) Position Overview We are seeking a Board Certified
Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support elementary-aged students in a
school-based setting. This role focuses on designing, implementing,
and monitoring behavior intervention programs that promote student
independence, access to instruction, and positive outcomes. The
BCBA will collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and
related service providers and play a key role in behavior crisis
management and staff training. This is a fully in-person position
located at Farm Hill Elementary School in Middletown, Connecticut.
Key Responsibilities Evaluate the effectiveness of behavior plans
and make data-driven modifications as needed Conduct and ensure
completion of Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior
Intervention Plans (BIPs) Collaborate with administrators, special
education teachers, general education teachers, paraprofessionals,
and related service providers Provide training and consultation to
parents, students, and school staff Identify environmental and
behavioral patterns and develop proactive, student-focused
interventions Assess student needs, set behavioral goals, and
design programs to teach and reinforce new skills Promote programs
that enhance student independence and functional outcomes
Participate in and model daily behavior management and assume a
lead role in behavior crisis management when required Collect,
record, analyze, and monitor behavioral data and student progress
Partner with school social workers and school psychologists to
build staff capacity in data collection for FBAs and behavior
interventions Develop and deliver professional development and
training for school staff Work closely with district-wide programs
to ensure interventions are delivered with fidelity Maintain a
strong understanding of the PPT/IEP process and collaborate
effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team Perform additional
duties as assigned Required Qualifications Board Certified Behavior
Analyst (BCBA) certification (required) Master’s degree in
Psychology, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a related
field (required) Minimum two years of experience working with
children with special needs preferred Experience with ABA, Verbal
Behavior , and VB-MAPP assessments preferred Experience in program
coordination and program evaluation preferred Demonstrated ability
to work independently while managing diverse and increasing
