About This Featured Opportunity

You will be joining a computer networking company headquartered in Santa Clara, California. This company designs and sells multilayer network switches to deliver software-defined networking solutions for large datacenter, cloud computing, high-performance computing, and high-frequency trading environments.

They want to improve their Manufacturing operations procedures. He/She will be analyzing their processes to improve mean time between failures and improve gaps within IS0 9001 compliancy.

THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU
We are looking for a very technical Quality Engineer who comes from a background in hardware manufacturing. You will also be a self starter with great communication skills!

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS

• 5+ years experience reviewing/analyzing manufacturing process. Analysis and testing of their processes could include:
  
  • Acceleration factor calculations
  • Meantime between failure calculations
  • Assessment of risk levels based on numerical data
  • Confidence level calculation
  • NPI testing and EDVT (electrical design validation testing)
  • Culture/Team Fit
    
    • Needs to be ok with small victories/wins and not try to overhaul everything all at once
    • Needs to know when to push versus step back
    • Good communication and ability to work with multiple cross-functional teams
    • Bonus - Coming from a network company such as: Cisco, Juniper, Dell, Palo Alto Networks
      
      DAY TO DAY
      He/She will be working with cross-functional teams to implement processes to improve reliability and quality in their manufacturing operations
