Job Description:

A versatile Engineering role requiring strong interpersonal skills to work with multiple organs of the Organization spanning from Design Engineers to Manufacturing Engineers as well as Field support Engineers and Customers. One will be playing a key role in driving Engineering changes and help design teams to design serviceable more robust hardware to meet End Customers' needs. A GPS engineer should have good writing skills to prepare documents and manuals for New Products and CIPs for installed base.Responsibilities1. Help Design Teams to develop serviceable and reliable hardware solutions for New Products2. Define service routines and develop Software solutions working with Software team3. Participate in or own first chamber Build &Test in Apps Lab4. Solve Issues, or work with Engineering to address issues identified5. Develop new procedures and Best Known Methods (BKMs) to service New Products.6. Work with Manufacturing team to develop test procedures and participate (if required) on New Product Final Test7. Drive resolution of key product issues with Engineering. Own Beta Site test plans and reporting8. Partner with Q&R group to review and address the Top Field Issues9. Identify Consumable/ Non consumable parts for an NPI and partner with Applied Global Service (AGS) team to ensure stocking at key locations10. Startup of an NPI system at customer site and train the Field Service Teams11. Documentation and publications of all the Procedures, BKMs and learningsQualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in the following fields (but not limited to)
Mechanical, Materials, Electrical, Industrial EngineeringExperience
Bachelor's Degree: 4+ years of applicable experience preferably in the Semiconductor Industry
