We are looking for a high-energy and passionate, hands-on circuit design team member to work with a diverse team and partner with experienced physical design engineers in the IP organization.
You will be fluent in custom circuit design flow, from schematic building to layout, timing, power convergence, and building a design database that is ready for manufacturing.Your responsibilities will include all aspects of custom circuit design flow convergence including but not be limited to:

  • Schematic building using industry standard CAD tool
  • Transistor level Spice simulation and variation analysis
  • Static timing analysis, noise, RV verification, formal equivalence, ERC checking
  • Close interaction with mask designer on layout optimizationIn addition to the qualifications listed below the ideal candidate will also have:
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Strong verbal/written communication skills
    • Effective team player with continuous learning mindset
    • Willingness to balance multiple tasks
    • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and have as much fun and growth as possible in the process
      Qualifications

      You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.Minimum Qualifications:Candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 4+ years of experience - OR - Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of experience - OR - PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 1+ years of experience in:
      • CMOS custom circuit design, Spice simulation, and layout verification
      • Industry standard CAD tools/flows for digital and/or analog design
        Preferred Qualifications: Experience in:
        • Design, characterization and verification of custom SRAM memory circuitry
