Requirements Location Santa Clara,CA(Looking for Bay Area Candidates) 3 month initial contract - extendable This candidate will Drive all UI automation scripts from scratch, rest of team focused on DevOps HM interested in feedback on what rates we are seeing in the market - Kristina is working with HMs on this. Not tied to any specific framework - but experience automating UI, texting QA Fully remote now, prefer someone in bay area, will eventually be a Hybrid role - once a week in office when opening up Top 5 skills Understanding on end to end UI script Experience 2-3 years exp with UI automation (Selenium for example) Will show them component library and code - then motivated go getter that is able to communicatecollab on automatin all 39 of them Must understand javascript (flexible on language, python nice to have) Send Resumes to Duties As a Software Engineer in Test, you will build tools, automate, and run test scenarios for our UI library. We are looking for highly technical individuals driven in their desire to get hands-on experience. You''ll work closely with our development team, testing and presenting the results to identify new approaches. You will participate in design discussions and help make a difference in developing the future direction of testing our library. You will drive the automation, efficiency and reliability of our library by testing them thoroughly to understand potential risks, bugs, or issues, providing an exemplary product experience for our end users. You love hunting for problems within the code, seeking issues to correct, and enjoy the challenge of a code-based scavenger hunt that includes testing, providing feedback, and identifying alternative suggestions for our product''s environment. Your Impact Write automated visual tests for the UI components in our monorepo packages in our ReactTypeScript library. Develop a framework for end-to-end testing of our UI components. Develop tools and infrastructure to improve quality and efficiency of testing. Develop and maintain test automation framework. Integrate tests to improve CICD flow. Develop and execute test plans and test cases. Reproduce and debug issues found. Skills UI automation experience is a MUST Strong Python, Selenium, Javascript skills Experience in developing and maintaining automation frameworks Experience with testcafe is a nice to have Experience in CICD technologies and tools development is a plus Excellent communication and collaborative skills Education BS or MS in computer science or related technical field and a strong Software DeveloperSDETSoftware Test Engineer background EEO Employer Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
