Due to Federal requirements, only US citizens, US naturalized citizens or US Permanent Residents, holding a green card, will be considered.The TeamAs a key member of the Cloud Health team within Global Cloud Automation Engineering, you will be responsible for the administration and operations of the regulated testing environment.The Cloud Health team is responsible for always ensuring the availability and health of lab while allowing engineering team to test and release products that have been newly developed. You will work on triaging, troubleshooting, and resolving critical issues in our regulated automation testing environment to ensure the continuous availability of our lab (Five 9s). Our team works closely with network, hardware, systems, automation, security, and software engineering teams throughout the company to turn possibilities into product, pushing the envelope of cloud computing innovation. Successful candidates will have demonstrated ability to work in technically complex and ambiguous environments, challenge status quo and use our own product in innovative ways. Our job is thinking outside the box to help our customers deliver the next generation of cloud platform excellence.QualificationsTo be successful in this role you have:Bachelor's/master's degree in Computer Science or related disciplineGood knowledge on JavaScript (e.g. NodeJS, ReactJS, Redux) or other similar frameworks (Python, Ruby, etc.), Java Web Application Framework & Integration technologies like workflows, APIs etc.Familiarity with database (MySQL, Oracle, or similar technologies) and networking routing, switching and load balancing4+ years of strong experience in troubleshooting and resolving difficult technical issues in Site Reliability Engineering/DevOps or managing testing infrastructure at a cloud computing or MSP setting is highly desirable.Ability to identify and resolve technical issues rapidly in a cloud automation environment.Experience with VM management, vCenter, ESXiExperience with systems and network performance and availability monitoring and analysis as well as configuration management platforms (Nagios/Icinga, Cacti, Netcool, Monolith, Puppet, cfengine, chef, Splunk, Logstash) highly desiredAptitude to identify the pattern of issues and provide automated solutions for issue resolution as a DevOps team member.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate solutions to complex technical problemsLaser focused on customer issuesOther Preferred Skills:Experience with ServiceNow technologies is a major plus.Cloud infrastructure knowledge.Additional InformationServiceNow is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
