role on our GPU Firmware team. You will be joining a team whose
primary mission is solving the intricate enigma of securing and
innovating the boot process for our GPUs, while working through the

doing:Design, develop, test, debug, and optimize GPU firmware
throughout the entire GPU lifecycleDesign and implement creative
solutions for boot softwareContinuously evaluate and improve the
security posture of firmware and hardware that form the root of
trust for our productsEvaluate and design secure firmware solutions
for server platformsBuild automated security testing
infrastructureFacilitate security requirements for GPU products by
driving compliance with industry standards such as NIST, Open
Compute Project, DMTF etc.Participate in in-depth security reviews
of software, hardware, process, and infrastructureAlign with
customers and partners on security requirements and featuresWork
with hardware teams to improve NVIDIA's GPU security across
hardware BootROMs, crypto accelerators, key stores, and other
unitsCollaborate with hardware, software, and business teams to
transform new firmware features from idea to realityWork with
leading OS and PC vendors to improve and innovate on the startup
experienceImprove team software process and core infrastructure by
enhancing build systems and regression farmsWhat we need to see:BS
or MS degree in EE/CS/CE (or equivalent experience)4+ years'
experience in developing device BIOS, firmware, or other low-level
software4+ years' experience in building secure firmware and
working with hardware security componentsStrong C skillsEven
stronger interpersonal skillsSense of humor heavily encouraged, but
not requiredDeep understanding of software processSecure software
fundamentals including cryptography, authentication/attestation,
chains of trust, and understanding of common SW security
vulnerabilitiesEasy to work with, as you'll constantly work closely
with both hardware designers and other software engineers to
design, develop, and debug functional (and non-functional!) aspects
of GPU subsystemsWays to stand out from the crowd:Familiarity with
x86 assembly and knowledge of the PCIe architectureKnowledge of
display technologies, DP, HDMI, and VGA/VESA specsUnderstanding of
the PC architecture and UEFI environmentsExperience developing for
safety critical platformsBackground with secure development
techniques such as threat models, attack-trees, static/dynamic
analysis, fuzzing, and negative testingExperience with formal
