• Help expand medical imaging access to people who need it the most!What You Will Be DoingIncoming Quality Control (IQC) / Inspection activities (60%):
  • Coordinates incoming inspection activities of all parts, assemblies and full devices received at our company, including Non-Conforming Material reporting.
  • Develops inspection routines for Incoming Inspection.
  • Supervises and mentors Quality Control Inspection function.
  • Provides feed-back to our engineers and suppliers on product performance and inspection results.
  • Creates and communicates reports on incoming inspection data.
  • Define Receiving Inspection requirements and test methodology
  • Coordinates quality engineering activities for engineering builds, including in-process inspections, final inspections, and documentation requirements.Supplier Quality Engineering (40%):
    • Communicates with suppliers to resolve quality issues.
    • Develops supplier qualifications and coordination of quality plans, PFMEAs and process validations with vendors.
    • May perform supplier audits and visits.
    • Monitor suppliers' performance, develops supplier metrics.What You Need for this PositionBachelor's Degree in a scientific field or similar with 5+ years experience in the following:
      • Medical Device Quality experience
      • Medical Device GMPs, ISO 13485, and ISO 14971 (Knowledge of IEC60601 series and IEC62304 highly desired.)
      • Incoming Quality Control (IQC) & Supplier Quality Engineering
      • Prior knowledge in manufacturing and inspection of electronic components (PCB, PCBA, MEMS, batteries, assembly processes etc.) highly desired.
      • Good knowledge of programming advanced measurement equipment (ex. Keyence, MicroVu or equivalent) and development of measurement routines
