Our Engineered Optics team is creating new super thin (sub micron) optical surfaces based on nanometer-sized structures on transparent substrates (known as "metasurface based optics" or "flat optics"), which manipulate light in the deep sub wavelength domain and enable previously impossible capabilities. These components will be the most fundamental change in optics in hundreds of years and could be deployed in AR/VR devices, cameras, projectors, sensors, and a host of yet to be imagined opportunities - there is endless potential.We are looking to hire a highly motivated, hands-on Process Technician to support our cutting-edge AR/VR devices. This position will be in our engineering group located in Sunnyvale, California where our dedicated and talented team is working to perfect this new technology. Key Responsibilities

  • Prepares wafers tool for experimentation to include, examine loading wafers, loading chemicals and loading imprint replica and manual align replica.
  • Operates nanoimprint lithography tool according to engineer pass down.
  • Recommends performance of process system and troubleshooting.
  • Provides recommendations to engineering. Records process conditions and experimental observations.
  • Operates metrology tool using existing recipe. Evaluates wafers thin films, including optimization of the process recipes.
  • Prepares graphs and tables summarizing results and analyzes data.
  • Interface with requestors, understand their detail requirement, and communicate on results.
    • Perform routine preventive maintenance. Identify problem put tool down and call for service.
    • Develop and publish best known method (BKM) procedures and document best known procedure.
    • Orders equipment and supplies, and coordinates with vendors and purchasing. Coordinates instrument repair and maintenance. -Required
      • Self-motivated, willing to learn with superior teamwork skills.
      • Hands on experience with tool operators e.g. lithography tool, track, spin coater, hotplate.
      • Hands on experience with wafer handling and process.
      • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
      • Excellent communication skills.
