Come help us solve some gnarly problems to deliver wow experiences to over a billion Apple customers!Key Qualifications15+ years of experience developing and or leading developersExperience leading software teams and extending servicesDeep knowledge of tooling in support of hardware dev cyclesAbility to build world-class automation to allocate, provision, and maintain devices for use by engineering teamsDescriptionThe developer software and tooling manager will work closely with AIML engineers to pair pools or released and unreleased devices with pipelines for ML models. Duties include:
- Match devices & builds for access in device cloud pools
- Update firmware for devices, peripherals, lab rack paraphernalia, and networking gear
- Provide clear, timely, and objective communication on device capacity, including regular updates, critical blockers, and presenting analysis to engineering teamsEducation & ExperienceB.S. in a technical fieldPay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $196,000 and $299,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
