This is a Full Time position in the field of Live Broadcast /
Sports / TV News / Technical Operations , located in Santa Clara,
CA .
The position pays $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year .
The Chief Broadcast & A/V Engineer helps to deliver best-in-class
event experiences at Levi's Stadium. Reporting to the Vice
President of Stadium and Event Operations, this individual will
focus on maintaining and improving all Broadcast & A/V related
technology for the organization.This individual needs to be a
natural problem solver who is communicative, creative, adaptable,
team oriented, and can quickly prioritize requests in a live event
environment. The successful candidate must demonstrate proficiency
in networking configuration, including installing routers, VPNs,
proxy servers, switches, HDR, 4K, 8K, and SMPTE 2110.The Chief
Broadcast & A/V Engineer will collaborate with an extensive group
of internal and external stakeholders including Game Presentation,
Marketing, IT, Facility Operations, Football Operations, Special
Events, Guest Services, and various other internal and external
stakeholders to ensure the best event experience
possible.Responsibilities and Duties:Leads the management,
technical operations, maintenance and improvement of the Levi's
Stadium broadcast production control room and associated studios,
including equipment, servers, peripherals, LED displays, audio
systems, IPTV systems, and broadcast network systems.Maintains,
improves, and develops the department fiscal budget, rate cards,
event cost estimates, event reconciliation, settlements, and
completing any necessary RFI, RFQ, or RFP.Maintains and develops
standard operating procedures for all building A/V, presentation
broadcast technical services, and digital media assets; ensures all
content is effectively delivered to all playback and show control
systems.Manages a team of full-time broadcast and A/V
professionals, engineers and game-day operators/freelancers, union
crews, and stagehands to operate and work all events; conduct
ongoing reviews of budgeting and staffing plans, recruiting,
training, supervising, and evaluating departmental personnel and
service providers.Oversees procurement, rentals, and ordering of
all broadcast, A/V, and lighting equipment; manages existing
inventory and asset management.Contributes to improving department
best practices and policies to help maximize the integration of all
systems to meet business, marketing, and entertainment
goals.Collaborates with key stakeholders to ensure game and event
presentation content is developed and executed efficiently and
effectively.Manages third-party service providers by enforcing the
agreed upon scope of services within the various signed service
agreements (i.e. maintenance providers, contractors, digital
signage service providers, etc.).Evaluates third-party maintenance
agreements.Works closely with content creation, Production, IT,
Operations and other groups across the San Francisco 49ers and
Levi's Stadium to resolve problems and assist in their areas of
need.Projects and strategizes Broadcast Operations needs on a
monthly, annual, and long-term basis.Willing and able to step in
and perform tasks as needed, including assuming any role in the
Production Control Room.Other duties as assigned.Physical Demands

of excellence.Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree or
equivalent degree and at least 8-10 years' relevant work
experience; or an equivalent combination of education and
experience.Prior experience in managing, operating, and maintaining
a technically advanced Production Control Room, large format
displays, IP based production, etc.Previous experience integrating,
implementing or refreshing an arena/venue broadcast control room,
including familiarity with modern broadcast cabling infrastructure
used in broadcast environments.Experience with control room
equipment including Evertz Routing, Evertz Clips, Evertz Replay,
Media Asset Management, Sony Cameras, Sony Switcher, Daktronics,
QSys, Dante, Audio Systems, IP Control Room Networking, Xpression,
Ridel & RTS Communications, etc.Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD,
Evertz Magnum, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Software (Excel,
Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and a high proficiency with Mac and PC
operating systems.Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud including
Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects and Media Encoder.Knowledge and
previous experience working with the NFL and concert/event show
promoters preferred.
