Job Description:
We seek a skilled Customer Support Engineer to join our
Dicer/Back Grinder Products department in the Fremont, CA area. The
ideal candidate will provide customer engineering support for the
dicer/back grinder products and general support by installing and
maintaining these products.
The full job description covers all associated skills, previous
experience, and any qualifications that applicants are expected to
have.
Duties:
Install, maintain, and trouble shoot Dicer/Back Grinder and related
equipment and peripherals.
Perform maintenance periodically and basic repairs. Communicate
with customers regarding status of maintenance and repairs.
Communicate information relating to customer device trends to
team.
Enter Field Service Reports (FSR) and submit to management in a
timely manner.
Document issues and bugs that can not be fixed immediately and
report using appropriate documentation.
Travel as required to obtain training and perform these duties
All other duties as required
Requirements:
Looking for 2-5 years of experience as customer support engineer
for dicer/back grinder or similar equipment
Bachelors in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering
preferred.
Associates or technical school degree/certification with at least 2
year of experience minimum.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to lift up to fifty pounds, unassisted. Must be able to
push, pull, or move heavy machinery or equipment with or without
assistance.
Strong oral and written communication skills in English
required.
Japanese language plus.
Training Certificates for Dicer /PG and/or other equipment is a
plus
