We aim to push the boundaries of manufacturing to shape a future where technology and humanity intersect.Position Overview :The Sr. Robotics Software Engineer will be pivotal in designing, developing, and building a digital manufacturing ecosystem. The perfect candidate will be a thought partner to the leadership team. You'll work closely with multiple teams to build the defining software capabilities to enable the autonomy of our robotic systems. This position is perfect for someone with expertise in robotics, automation, and software integration, as well as for someone who thrives on creative thinking in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities :

• Architect, design, develope and deploy embedded software and firmware for robotic-enabled 3D printers.
• Conceptualize, design, and test advanced robotic and automation systems, seamlessly integrating hardware and software to achieve next-generation efficiency.
• Responsibility for onboarding software infrastructure for robotic sensing systems (Sensors, compute, Device drivers, network communication)
• Engage in continuous research and innovation, advocating for novel technical solutions and improving current systems with a future-forward mindset.
• Develop procedures and maintain proper documentation related to robotics systems.
• Write and maintain core libraries that all robotics platforms at Solideon will use.Qualifications :
  • 5+ years in robotics, automation, or a related engineering field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a high-growth technology company
  • Strong knowledge of ROS2, Python, C#, C/C++, particularly in data analysis and systems integration.
  • Experience with microcontrollers, IoT systems, electronics, and electro-mechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with developing and documenting APIs and user interfaces.
  • Understanding of networking protocols and techniques for advanced integration.
  • Proven skills in diagnosing and resolving software issues in complex systems related to hardware.Preferred Skills :
    • Hands-on experience with vision systems in automation environments.
    • Knowledge of ROS/ROS2 framework.
    • Strong database management and data analysis abilities.
    • Experience with PCB design
    • Understanding real-time operating systems and their applications.
    • Familiarity with CAD, CAM, simulation, and FEA tools for design and prototyping.
    • Experience setting up control systems, adhering to wiring regulations, and working with PLCs.
    • Experience in 3D printing and rapid prototyping for developing innovative solutions.
