Job Description:

Functions & Responsibilities: Conduct Hi-Pot (High Potential) testing to ensure electrical insulation integrity. Set up, operate, and maintain Hi-Pot testing equipment. Analyze test results, document findings, and report discrepancies. Troubleshoot electrical components and systems to identify faults. Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to refine testing procedures. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Assist in developing and improving test protocols. Experience & Educational Requirements: Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Hi-Pot testing in an industrial or manufacturing setting. Education: Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field. Strong understanding of electrical safety protocols and insulation testing principles. Proficiency in using testing and measurement equipment. Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Detail oriented and strong work ethic. Experience using Microsoft office products such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. Must have the flexibility to work morning and swing shifts Organizational Relationships: This person will report directly to their Quality Supervisor. Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must be able to stand for a long period of time. Must be able to work with hands doing repeated actions. Schedule: 8 hour shifts: Morning shift schedule 5am to 1:30pm and swing shift 1:30pm to 10pm Possible weekday and Saturday overtime. Language: English (Required)
