Job Description:
USB Debug Systems Engineer 6 months contract Location: Santa
Clara, CA Hours Per Day: 8 Hours Per Week:40 Description: The Role:
Within the client platform engineering team, this engineer will
work in a highly technical lab based team to debug USB issues to
provide system solutions for Client's APU and CPU processors. The
Person: An experienced USB engineer who is driven to learn new
engineering concepts, working across silicon design, platform, and
validation teams to debug and deliver robust USB solutions.
Preferred Experience: • Technical expertise in debug of USB4/3.2
system solutions including type C, PD, and retimers • Good
knowledge of USB4/3.2 specifications • Exposure to USB compliance
specification and test cases • Experience using USB analyzer and
oscilloscope based tools in the analysis an debug of USB issues •
Experience in software development including using languages such
as Python to be used in USB debug and analysis tools • CPU/APU and
system level hardware and software usage • Good written and oral
communication skills Education: • Bachelors or Master's Degree in
Electrical or Computer Engineering preferred Compensation: The
hourly rate for this position is between $ 65 .00 - $80.00 per
hour. Factors that may affect starting pay within this range may
include [geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other
