Role The Vice President, GTM Sales will lead a sales team to develop transformational customer relationships in key verticals within the world s largest companies. They will be responsible for setting and executing ServiceNow s Industry sales strategy. This executive will assume leadership of a growing sales organization including Area Vice Presidents, Directors/ Senior Directors and Account Executives, to help drive complex enterprise deal transactions. The VP, GTM Sales must able to influence the C-suite of large Customers, collaborate with Practice Area Leaders of Top Partners, and drive cross- functional execution internally within ServiceNow. This senior executive role provides significant visibility within ServiceNow and an opportunity to deliver incredible results. What_You_Get_To_Do_In_This_Role * Set and execute an aggressive customer acquisition strategy to generate aggressive growth in revenue and bookings * Maintain key customer relationships and develop and implement strategies for expanding the company s customer base * Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting * Manage overall sales process, set appropriate metrics for sales funnel management * Plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels * Be responsible for the vision and Strategy of the ServiceNow Vertical Portfolio * Deliver incredible value for Top Executives in key vertical markets * Define and own the execution strategy for the short- and long-term solution roadmap * Work cross-functionally to define and execute a go-to-market strategy * Be the "face" of a Vertical Solutions internally and externally for ServiceNow * Participate in sales cycles and help drive long term customer relationship * Set goals, track performance, and communicate results * Build a sense of pride in the joint-success of customers and your team To be successful in this role, we need someone who has: * 10-15+ years experience in a 3rd or 4th line leadership experience leading teams in strategic GTM sales in the US * Strong track record of recruiting, developing and retaining a high performing enterprise sales organization * Consistent overachievement of quota and revenue goals * 12+ years in software and/or applications sales (ideally in a CRM, ERP and/or B2B software company), selling primarily to the CxO level * Proven expertise in the sales leadership to specific industries * Proven track record of building satisfied, loyal and referenceable customers * Proven success working within a highly matrixed organization and establishing strong relationships across all functions * Strong operational and analytical abilities * Strategic enterprise sales experience and revenue achievement selling multiple enterprise software offerings * Experience selling cloud-based enterprise applications is strongly preferred * Bachelor s degree preferred; an MBA a plus We provide competitive compensation, generous benefits and a professional atmosphere.
