Role : Director - New Business Development
Location: California, Arizona, Washington, Oregon, Nevada,
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsible for acquisition of new logos in the West. Industries
would include Hi-Tech / Healthcare / Financial Services / Med
Devices / Retail / etc.
Provide guidance and feedback to marketing on collateral and
elements of running effective campaigns.
Work with Marketing to ensure sales scripts, website, social media
and other supporting initiatives are in line with offerings.
Have the support of a tele-sales team, inside sales and full
complement of a marketing team.
Follow up on leads from marketing campaigns, conferences,
advertising, inside sales, Linkedin outreach and other inbound and
outbound lead generating tactics.
Create your own leads from existing relationships as prudent and/or
through request for referrals from clients you develop.
Develop relationships with sellers on the ground for your various
partners, highlight to them the work we do, maintain a
communication strategy with them either directly or with the help
Leverage the Trianz marketing support team as necessary for
proposal development, RFP responses and other needs.
Travel as needed to client sites, technical conferences, training,
team and company functions. Position Trianz's growing managed
services business and remote management capabilities with every
opportunity (as prudent or relevant).
Maintain accuracy and consistency on internal systems, mainly
Attend team meetings, forecast calls and other meetings as
necessary and required by your direct line manager.
Complete required reviews in a timely fashion as determined by
their individual deadlines.
Meet or exceed quota.
This represents 90% of what you will measured on.
Work with extended members of the team included proposal assurance
team to develop and deliver proposals, SOW's, RFP's.
Leverage your knowledge of the Cloud field to demonstrate expertise
in the domain as it pertains to the solutions we deliver and the
evolution of the field.
Stay current on industry trends, news, analyst insights and related
Leverage existing or create appropriate materials to present to
prospects throughout the opportunity development phases.
Demonstrate command of meetings and presentations based on your
Work with the local marketing team for any initiatives you want to
run in territory or to understand any campaigns they are running on
behalf of the organization.
Possess a strong history delivering consistent sales results
including: building a territory plan, new logos acquisition
strategy, cross selling in some accounts etc.
Willing to travel as much as 50%-75% of the time.
Have strong knowledge of Infrastructure Management Services, Cloud
and Security, Digital Transformations, Analytics.
Strong time management skills to balance direct sales to end user
To be successful in this role the ideal person will have:
MBA from a top-tier business school.
7+ years of sales experience in the technology services
Seasoned leader to manage and grow our business and relationship
within the account.
Proven track record in fostering effective relationships with
senior clients both in Technology and in Business (e.g. CMO, Head
Fast to adopt innovation and new technologies and integrate these
in to client work.
A clear Point of View on digital performance backed up with
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to pre-empt problems and be pro-active in producing
Sales strategy and management skills.
Financial and commercial management experience including experience
of managing Scope of Work negotiations.
