Job SummaryThe Sr. Sales Manager Strategic Sales for the US will establish new business and maintain existing Strategic accounts in the Western US region.--This person will utilize resources from our contracted rep company, our distributors and our resale partners to drive rapid growth.--The Sr. Sales Manager will have knowledge of circuits with preferably an Electrical Engineering background and be able to discuss design issues and understand and present the technical benefits of our products.--The position will target opportunities in the Enterprise, Telecommunications, Aerospace and Defense, Cloud Computing, Industrial, Mobile and IOT, and Automotive markets and should be comfortable discussing design issues in each category.--A successful candidate will be a high-energy self-starter driven and inspired by unlimited opportunities for an innovative MEMS product with highly creative and fast growing customer base.Responsibilities:* Manage identified Strategic accounts in the territory and drive sales objectives.* Present to Purchasing staff, engineers, and management at accounts of interest in a professional setting as the front line representative of the company.* Coordinate with Reps in the territory for success at named accounts using channel partners as needed.* Cooerdinate with channel partners and leverage their resources in the territory to drive new customer identification and customer base expansion.* Provide customer support as needed responding to customer technical and commercial questions.* Provide market feedback to the company on the competitive environment and new product ideas and features.* Maintain the CRM database with accurate customer and channel information regarding sales opportunities, design ins, design wins and production status.* Prepare accurate forecasts of business for use in capacity planning, longer range resource planning and sales prioritization.* Include company resources, engineers and management, in account calls as required.* Execute timely preparation of all expense reports and assigned projects* Drive other projects as needed by management or as business needs change Qualifications & Requirements:* BA/BS Degree in a technical field, preferably in Electrical Engineering* Minimum 10 years related sales experience* Understanding of circuits* Knowledge of semiconductor industrial and/or engineering terms that are applicable to the company's product* Reliable transportation and valid driver's license* Willing and able to travel about 20% of the time,--primarily domestic travelDesired Characteristics & Attributes:* Engaging personality with excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills required* Inquisitive and a deep desire to learn new technologies* Excellent customer service skills required* Willingness and tenacious ability to prospect new business* Self-starter that can work independently without proximity supervision* Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment* Desire to work for a fast paced growth oriented companyThis position will be based out of our Santa Clara, CA office when it is safe to do so.
