As part of the Talent Development team, the Learning and Development Lead/Partner will quickly but effectively work to create innovative and pragmatic learning programs in support of employee development and business success and growth.Responsibilities

  • Ability to drive strategic discussions with business leaders to identify needs, align on goals, scope requests, and plan strategy for new training, delivery and scale. Engages with leadership to identify, develop and lead training and educational programs that align to Company core values and strategic plan.
  • Develops, manages and facilitates Company training and development programs for employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Works closely with leadership, knowledge experts and human resource stakeholders to develop training content (created internally or by utilizing external vendors) specific to the needs of the business, while aligning to the Corporate principles and regulatory compliance requirements. Recommends different training mediums based on content and audience to ensure effective retention and develops a preferred vendor partnership program with external vendors to support the learning and development needs for the company.
  • Develops strategies and processes to ensure effective delivery of learning programs
  • Contributes to reporting on training activities and analyse data to drive results and learning effectiveness.
  • Creates innovative and pragmatic learning solutions
  • Drives adherence to standardized processes and industry best practices learning solutions as well as getting feedback from teams on areas of opportunity for improvement.
  • Collaborates with the Talent Development team's Instructional Designer on eLearning content development and copywritingQualifications:
  • Familiarity and/or experience with program management tools, learning management systems, instructional design tools
  • Bachelor's Degree or related job experience required. Master's Degree preferred.
  • 10+ years' experience supporting corporate training and education required, including facilitation experience.
  • Proven strategic leadership and project management skills required.
  • Familiarity with Articulate 360 and eLearning course development preferred.
  • Able to build relationships with internal and external business contacts required.
  • Able to influence with or without authority at all levels of the business.
  • Strong time-management skills required. Able to maintain professional composure under tight deadlines or sensitive situations.
  • Able to facilitate off-the-shelf content, as well as develop company-specific content.
  • Able to identify effective training mediums for different audiences and content.
  • Proven track record as a Learning or Training Program Manager, L&D Consultant, Learning Manager or Instructional Designer.
  • Experience developing training in a variety of delivery modalities (virtual, hands-on/experiential, instructor led, remote classroom, synchronous/asynchronous) for a variety of audiences
  • Experience building, interpreting, and communicating performance metrics.
  • Deep understanding of adult learning theory and ability to implement learning solutions that are interactive and learner-centered. Understanding of industry learning trends and best practices, adult learning theory, and instructional design principles.
