Senior Director, Product Management (Content Knowledge & Platforms) Senior Director, Product Management (Content Knowledge and Platforms) Job Description As the Sr. Director of Content Knowledge and Platforms , you are accountable for the company's content production, organization, and dissemination strategy.-- You will w ork closely with the Content Operations , Data Science , Engineering , and various Product groups within Learning Services, to develop the strategy for how content at Chegg is created , cataloged , and distributed . Y ou will lead geographically distributed teams across California, Canada, and India, includ ing Product Scrum Teams, Designers, Analysts, and Data Managers. You will have ownership of the product strategy and process by which all professional content is authored at Chegg. In addition, you are responsible for the strategy and execution behind the foundational sources of truth at Chegg used to tag and catalog all content. You will report to the Learning Services Head of Content and work closely with other Business and Product leaders. Your vision and oversight of execution will play a critical role in the 5 - year roadmap for Chegg's expansion geographically and technically. Responsibilities Oversee product teams responsible for developing and maintaining tools and systems used to author and manage content at Chegg Define the strategy and vision for Chegg's content ecosystem leverag ing Chegg's Data Science and expert/educator networks and partner with Chegg's Engineering teams to turn it into a reality.-- Manage relationships between content production (operations) and content delivery (product) Work closely with Senior Business leaders on planning and execution for highly scalable and efficient content production systems Evolve and execute the vision behind Chegg's tagging and cataloging strategy Build and retain a high-performing team that owns the roadmap for content systems at Chegg Nurture relationships with internal and external counterparts, experts, and thought leaders Requirements: 8 + years of experience in Product Management or Business Management (GM) roles. Including prior experience as Director or VP. Exceptional analytical skills: ability to create order from chaos, and lead a team through strategic analysis from end to end Exceptional communication (written & oral) skills; ability to create a clear narrative driving to a compelling point of view or recommendation Experience working with and influencing C-Level executives History of cultivating strong relationships with multiple constituents Team player; remains focused on the success of the team and the company Track record of developing junior staff Bachelor ' s degree; MBA or other relevant master ' s degree preferred Expertise/ experience in the education technology market is a plus
