Recently named as one of Leapfrog's top hospitals, and recognized for its Stroke Care program, the Medical Imaging Manager will be joining a top-tier facility in a trusted system.The Imaging and Radiology Manager will report to a Regional Service Line Director, who oversees ancillary and radiology operations across multiple hospitals in this non-profit health system. Supporting the Manager at the hospital-level are two Imaging Supervisors and a Lead Rad Tech, who in turn oversee a tenured team of Radiology Technologists with general and specialized skills. Additional reports to the Radiology Manager include Outpatient Radiology/Imaging Supervisors who oversee each satellite location.The Manager will oversee Inpatient Imaging operations in a high-volume department which offers a full range of services. Additionally, the Radiology Manager will lead operations for Outpatient Imaging Services, arguably the busier portion of this service line. This position will oversee CT, MRI, Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Mammography, Interventional Radiology, Cardiac Cath Lab, and Imaging Files Administration. Because of this diverse workload, ARRT Certification is preferred but not necessary if the applicant has strong experience overseeing these modalities and / or an advanced degree in business or hospital leadership.Working in collaboration with hospital leadership, and within the practice / operating guidelines of the health system, the Imaging Manager will take responsibility for an incredibly busy and diverse department. The key parts of this role are as follow:

• Human - The Manager will lead the acquisition, training, and retention processes for personnel throughout the department. This person will serve as a guide and mentor, ensuring that all staff act in accordance with safety and quality protocols, as well as in adherence to labor relations code.
• Finance - In collaboration with the hospital / health system financial analysis staff, the Radiology Manager will establish and maintain the departmental budgets, support revenue growth, and control expenses.The San Francisco Bay Area is well known to have something for everyone.
