Analog Devices (NASDAQ: ADI) designs and manufactures
semiconductor products and solutions. We enable our customers to

Analog Devices' Energy Conversion Solutions group is seeking a
Senior Product Applications Manager. Our primary focus is providing
innovative solutions for the fast-growing electric vehicle and
energy markets. This market needs isolated gate drivers, high
voltage-high power DC/DC converters using LLC, phase shift full
bridge, and totem pole PFC topologies, as well as other power
conversion technologies. Innovation in topologies and techniques is
encouraged. The group is designing cutting edge wide bandgap power
switch solutions and isolated gate drivers to power and conrol
these converters. The applications team consists of talented
engineers with advanced degrees and published papers in power
electronics. Santa Clara, CA or Longmont, CO locations are
preferred but other US locations will be considered as well.
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing team of applications engineers
- Working on application circuits of DC/DC power supplies and
isolated gate drivers
- Developing demo boards for power products
- Performing thorough new product evaluations
- Developing design/simulation tools/circuits
- Technical writing, presentations, and trainings
- creating product collaterial including datasheets and
applications notes
Required Skills
The ideal candidate will have the following requirements:
--- MSEE or PHD
--- 5+year experience with DC/DC converter (switching power
supplies) designs
--- Strong background in analog circuits, power electronics and
power systems.
--- Interest in DC/DC power conversion and knowledge of power
conversion topologies
--- Strong analytic skills along with power system modeling and
control loop design.
--- Familiar with circuit design/simulation tools and lab
equipment.
--- Good technical writing and presentation skills
--- Must possess good communication skills and have ability to work
as a part of a multidisciplinary team.
