The role is based in Santa Clara, California. They're currently hiring for a skilled Director of Motion Planning to lead the motion planning team to deliver the algorithm development of robot (drone) trajectory planning and motion planning in highly dynamic environments. They are looking for someone who has:

• Doctoral degree, more than 5 years of experience of motion planning algorithm development and full life cycle project delivery experience.
• Familiar with classic planning algorithms such as A*, RRT, MPC and common robot kinematics and dynamics constraint models.
• Experienced in research and development of motion planning for modeling various objective functions fused with kinematics and dynamics constraints, as well as practical experience in nonlinear optimization;
• Familiar with C++/Python
• Familiar with the geometric expression of three-dimensional space, such as Lie algebra/group.
• Experience in managing teams and projects.
  Bonus:Experience with reinforcement learning based planning algorithms.
