SummaryMarketing Communications ManagerLG is seeking a Marketing
Communications Manager to join the LG NOVA team. The Marketing
Communications Manager will be charged with driving marketing
communications campaigns and stories for LG NOVA and the innovative
impact-focused companies selected to be a part of its Challenge and
Incubation Program.In this role, you will work with like-minded
corporate communication experts behind a top global brand,
executives at exciting emerging startups, subject matter experts,
and entrepreneurs to create stories that raise visibility and
awareness of LG as a leading technology innovator. You'll get to
craft articles, press materials, marketing collateral and content
that will help LG NOVA share its outside-in innovation approach and
the vision for the future. Creativity is key for this position, as
you will be tasked with leveraging multiple marketing channels -
paid, owned and earned - to bringing a spotlight to the program and
the companies working with LG NOVA.Your role will be to keep in
close contact with the companies in the program, working
hand-in-hand with their marketing team to build go-to-market plans
and marketing communications programs to support our joint business
initiatives. These companies are on the forefront of building
technology applications and solutions to solve global challenges
that will improve people's lives, community and the
planet.ResponsibilitiesAs a marketing communication manager at LG
NOVA, you will be responsible for executing marketing campaigns
that will lead to the success of our startups and businesses. You
will be an individual contributor and should be hands-on.
Professional skills and responsibilities for this position include
but are not limited to:Develop and execute marketing go-to-market
and launch plans that incorporates multi-channel marketing
strategies for LG NOVA's joint collaboration with Challenge
companiesGenerate marketing and communication materials to support
collaborations and new business creation; including press release,
press materials, collateral, social media, thought leadership
pieces, web content, and other public facing contentHelp build a
marketing service function for all things marketing for Challenge
companies and businesses developed from the LG NOVA programCreate
opportunities to share the Challenge Program participantsLG NOVA
story throughout the year Work closely with the incubation team to
support their business goals; work with the ecosystem team to bring
value to the Challenge program participants.Work with multiple
agencies to carryout marketing campaigns, including PR, creative,
content and social mediaHelp manage external company participation
at LG NOVA sponsored and owned events and trade showsCollaborate
with the marketing and PR team on broad marketing/PR initiatives to
drive awareness for LG NOVAKey Qualifications:BS in communication,
public relations, marketing communications, business/economics or
related field.8years' experience in media company/agency, F500,
startups or consulting firms, post-undergraduate. Experience in
working with startups and the startup ecosystemExcellent written
and oral communication skills and a confident and clear
communication style. Excellent documentation/copyediting
skill.Broad set of marketing and communication experience that
spans B2B, B2C, B2B2C, and P2P markets. Consumer marketing
experience a plus. Hands-on experience and skills in social media
marketing, newsletter, email marketing and distribution
managementExisting relationships and connections with press, media,
and public relations organizations.Love for learning and using
marketing software and tools, including CRM, Adobe Creative Cloud,
project management tools, communications tools, cloud-based apps
and software for online collaborationStrong understanding of social
media marketing, digital marketing, web and SEO Knowledge and
experience in marketing automation systems (Hubspot, Pardot,
Marketo, Adobe Experience) Experience in working with corporate and
external stakeholders Last but not least, entrepreneurial mindset
with bias for action in highly ambiguous environments - enjoys
making sense of white spacePreferences:Broad understanding of
technology and applicationsPassion for new emerging technology and
marketsLocationThis position will be located in California. Travel
may be up to 10-20%. Please note: relocation support is not
