Then read on!You will be leading an expanding team of data and software engineers. Your initial challenge will be creating and cementing an engineering culture including best practices, standards, guidelines, and processes. Your continued focus will be on helping your team move faster while serving the organization's mobile app and web clickstream data needs. The goals and problems to solve will be clear, and derived directly from a team of cross-functional stakeholders aligned on the shared vision of optimizing our data's value.We believe in shared data ownership. Your team's solutions will result in empowering data owners to manage and optimize their data's value through data quality and democratization improvements. For example, your team will develop systems and tooling to help data owners quickly detect data anomalies and regression issues, to name a few. You will define and measure the results of your team and their contributions in helping stakeholders own and manage their data.Your team expands both Digital Analytics and Data Governance. You will continue to foster daily collaboration within your team and cross-functional teams throughout the organization.What You'll Do

• Lead and grow a team of data and software engineers, measuring their growth and output
• Take responsibility for the overall planning, execution, and success of your team's results
• Guide technical projects and provide leadership in engineering best practices
• Contribute technically to projects, participate in code reviews, invent processes to streamline
• Work closely with the Product Management team and stakeholders to ensure we're building the best solutions serving our customers' needs
• Present and evangelize solutions to internal teams and stakeholdersWhat We're Looking For
  • An experienced engineering servant-leader with a team-first leadership style
  • Experience leading engineering teams that deliver highly available, observable, resilient, scalable, and performant systems
  • Demonstrated mastery in working with large data sets
  • Expert knowledge of SQL, data structures, data integrity, and schema design best practices
  • Experience with JavaScript or Typescript and one or more of the following languages: Python, Java, Ruby, C#, Objective-C, or comparable Object Oriented language
  • Experience working with AWS or equivalent cloud computing platform
  • Familiar with data collecting, streaming, and processing technologies
  • 10+ years experience or related work experience preferred and 3-6 years leadership experience
