  • Partner with Sales, Legal, FP&A, and Sales Operations on non-standard contract review to determine revenue impact and provide recommendations to maximize revenue
  • Partner with Marketing on evaluation of sales incentive programs and other partner programs
  • Partner with Product management on roadmap creation and review
  • Manage appropriate revenue recognition and tracking of non-standard one-off deals, SOX compliance and responding to external auditor's requests, as required
  • Participate in close activities including review of manual entries and account reconciliations
  • Research, evaluate, and prepare technical revenue accounting memos
  • Drive improvement, efficiency, and effectiveness into all revenue methodologies and deliverables
  • Lead and assist with other special projects, as needed
  • Will consider candidates not located in the Bay area (remote ok) within the United StatesQualificationsYour Experience
    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
    • CPA required, Big 4 experience preferred
    • 8 years minimum of progressive experience in technical accounting, including 4+ years in revenue recognition (9 - 10+ total years preferred)
    • Excellent knowledge of revenue and related pronouncements (ASC 606)
    • Experienced in writing complex technical accounting position papers
    • Advance knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
    • Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and execute in a fast-paced environment with attention to details
    • Team player and effective communicator with all levels of management and cross functional organizations
