- Partner with Sales, Legal, FP&A, and Sales Operations on
non-standard contract review to determine revenue impact and
provide recommendations to maximize revenue
- Partner with Marketing on evaluation of sales incentive
programs and other partner programs
- Partner with Product management on roadmap creation and
review
- Manage appropriate revenue recognition and tracking of
non-standard one-off deals, SOX compliance and responding to
external auditor's requests, as required
- Participate in close activities including review of manual
entries and account reconciliations
- Research, evaluate, and prepare technical revenue accounting
memos
- Drive improvement, efficiency, and effectiveness into all
revenue methodologies and deliverables
- Lead and assist with other special projects, as needed
- Will consider candidates not located in the Bay area (remote
ok) within the United StatesQualificationsYour Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA required, Big 4 experience preferred
- 8 years minimum of progressive experience in technical
accounting, including 4+ years in revenue recognition (9 - 10+
total years preferred)
- Excellent knowledge of revenue and related pronouncements (ASC
606)
- Experienced in writing complex technical accounting position
papers
- Advance knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage
priorities and execute in a fast-paced environment with attention
to details
- Team player and effective communicator with all levels of
management and cross functional organizations
- SAP and accounting operations experience a plusAdditional
