The GC/MS marketing team is looking for a talented individual who can bridge the world of science and business in the high visibility role of GC/Q-TOF Product Manager. This role involves the following core activities:

• Gathering voice-of-customer input and translating customer need into future product development requirements
• Performing market and competitive analysis
• Creating compelling marketing campaigns and collateral to highlight value propositions and differentiation
• Working in a cross-functional team to align vision and build momentum across marketing, R&D, finance, manufacturing, and customer support
• Identifying and developing collaborations with industry and academia
• Developing close relationships with a global sales team, coordinating training content, and supporting them through generation of customer facing material A successful product manager requires a strong sense of ownership for their portfolio. You will be encouraged to think boldly, ask questions, and voice your ideas. Flexibility is expected in this role, as on any day of the week you may need to actively engage in any of the varied aspects that impact your products. For example, Monday morning you may be analyzing sales figures and updating forecast models; Tuesday you are building a business case to invest in a collaboration opportunity; Wednesday you finalize and practice an upcoming webinar presentation; Thursday you discuss project status with a development team; Friday you meet with a regional sales team to discuss an emerging application area.
