Information about Agilent is available at www.agilent.com Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Global Quality and Regulatory Affairs (GQRA) , the Associate Vice President of Product Quality and Incident Management will be responsible for setting strategy and leading the Product Quality and Incident Management organization for Agilent. S/he will ensure that Agilent's process for investigating product quality issues and complaints is robust and in alignment ISO and applicable regulatory requirements, and will oversee Field Actions across Agilent. - S/he will be a key member of the GQRA executive leadership team and will work in close partnership with the GQRA leaders to refine and execute the multi-year GQRA strategic roadmap.

  • Lead the Product Quality and Incident Management function with global standards and procedures that set clear expectations for complaint handling and product quality investigations across Agilent.
  • Oversee the Complaint Handling Center at Agilent, ensuring that complaints are rapidly investigated and resolved in accordance with regulatory expectations and Agilent Standards, while ensuring a strong linkage to Agilent's Vigilance function for safety assessment of complaints.
  • Provide product quality metrics and expert analysis to enable rapid identification of product quality issues and trends. Ensures that metrics are leveraged for product quality improvements.
  • Ensure that the Agilent process for the investigation of quality issues is best-in-class.
  • Conduct Agilent's Critical Quality Issue Notification program. In partnership with business Quality and Regulatory leaders, ensure the rapid identification, investigation, and notification of potentially critical quality issues to executive management.
  • Oversee Agilent's Field Action process in collaboration with Global Quality and Regulatory Affairs partners, ensuring the rapid resolution of field actions.
  • Strive for operational excellence and facilitate the One Agilent culture and mindset enabling superior support for internal and external business partners.     • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Engineering or Life Sciences discipline. Advanced degree highly desirable.
    • Demonstrated industry experience in Diagnostics, Life Sciences and/or highly regulated markets.
    • Minimum of 7 years of Quality leadership roles, of increasing managerial experience, in a multi-national company.
    • Experienced investigated quality issues for invitro diagnostics.
    • Strong knowledge of quality management systems and Quality System Standards, including but not limited to ISO quality standards, medical device regulations (ISO 13485, FDA QSR, IVDD, IVDR, MDD etc.) and related standards.
    • Experience interacting with regulators for Field Corrective Actions and Field Safety Corrective Actions.
    • Exceptional leadership and team building skills, ideally having integrated diverse global teams into a united organization sharing a common vision and mission.
