Gigamon has been awarded over 125 technology patents and enjoys world-class customer satisfaction with more than 4,200 organizations, including over 80 percent of the Fortune 100 and hundreds of government and educational organizations worldwide.Gigamon is seeking a Sr. Director of Brand Digital Experience to lead the company's brand digital strategy and experience for paid brand media, the site in 6 languages, Gigamon technical user Community, customer marketing and references activities, and video/WOM marketing programs. This leader will play a vital role in increasing brand awareness and engagement, helping to grow pipeline impact via paid and owned digital channels and developing and managing global digital experiences at scale. The right candidate will be a strategic leader with demonstrated experience with web marketing and strategy, localization and translation management systems, SEO/SEM/digital marketing, online communities, and customer marketing and references. This role requires having a clear understanding of who our customers and target demographics are and translating these insights into high-impact digital experiences that our customers, partners and prospects are looking for.The ideal candidate will possess keen insight into people, balancing domain expertise with the ability to build and inspire high-performance teams.Responsibilities:

  • Own the brand digital experience strategy and roadmap for .com, community and brand advertising digital channels
  • Oversee the management and day-to-day activities of digital marketing,, Gigamon Community and customer marketing teams
  • Lead the digital media strategy with our team and agency partners to grow awareness and engagement especially with high-propensity target accounts
  • Grow opportunities to leverage our digital properties for demand generation purposes and increase down-funnel conversions
  • Oversee customer marketing and reference team that is chartered to grow advocacy for our cloud and security products through both named and anonymous activities with Fortune 1000 customers
  • Drive engagement and membership for our Gigamon technical user community with 18,000+ members
  • Grow traffic and engagement for our .com experience through paid, owned and earned channels and with an eye toward implementing a video-first strategy
  • Oversee offshore and onshore team of web publishers who develop, publish, and maintain our global web site in 6 languages
  • Use analytics and data to drive enhancements and impact across our global digital channels
  • Spearhead a testing and personalization strategy using best-in-class targeting and analytics tools
  • Help activate Gigamon champions within the company to advocate for Gigamon and engage with social media influencers in the cloud and security space
  • Lead a dynamic team with an eye on individual and team development, inspiring each member of the team to reach their full potentialDesired Skills and Experience:
    • 15+ years of experience leading web, community and digital marketing teams
    • Strong understanding of the latest digital marketing principles, best practices and trends
    • Familiarity working with content management systems, translation management and web content management systems; Adobe Experience Manager a real plus
    • Experience evolving web sites to speed conversions and measurable impact on engagement; familiarity with Marketo, SFDC and Drift conversational marketing tools a real plus
    • Experience working with online communities and growing membership and engagement with technical users
    • Experience working with digital marketing and media agencies to scale and grow digital advertising programs
    • Familiarity with customer marketing and reference activities and programs at scale; experience with ReferenceEdge customer reference management a real plus
    • Concrete understanding and background in SEO/SEM desired
    • Knowledge of new tools in digital experience and customer experience and analytics space
    • Well-developed communication and collaboration skills to partner with marketing, product marketing, sales, customer success and engineering teams across the company
    • Proficiency in budget planning and management#LI-WR1
