The Key Account Manager (KAM) for Semiconductor Equipment and Service will be responsible for direct sales, sales and customer development, and inside sales and technical support when required. This person will be responsible for sales of all TRUMPF Huettinger's products related with plasma process (sputtering, etching, etc. ) This person will maintain and strengthen the loyalty of assigned, customer accounts. The primary responsibilities for this position include prospecting and customer qualification.Principle Duties & Responsibilities

  • Sell all TRUMPF Huettinger products in the assigned business unit or area.
  • Co-operation with TRUMPF Electronics US Sales force.
  • Develop and sustain the sales business according to the assigned budget level.
  • Provide technical support as needed to achieve sales goals.
  • Prepare detailed sales and activity business reports after each customer visit.
  • Continuous working on company CRM tool.
  • Produce and maintain market information relevant to semiconductor business and customer accounts.
  • Reporting competitors' activity and new potentials on the market in other business or regions; including global activities.
  • Prepare detailed short term and long-term sales forecast.
  • Prospect and qualify potential new companies for TRUMPF Huettinger equipment in the semiconductor industry.
  • Promote and sell TRUMPF Huettinger products at defined product trade shows and events. Assist/Host customer demonstrations.
  • Manage systems tests in the region.
  • Co-operation with other TRUMPF Huettinger departments.
  • Travel is primarily regulated to the San Francisco Bay area for local customer, although occasional international travel will also be expected.
  • If necessary, help with 24-hour customer support line. 24-hour pager response. ExperienceA minimum of eight (8) years of experience in Sales, Marketing. or related business is desired. Applicant should have a background in semiconductor and manufacturing area/industry. Electronics and Controls knowledge and experience is desired.EducationAn associate degree in Electronics is the minimum requirement for this position, with a bachelor's degree being strongly preferred. Added experience and college as mentioned above, including but not limited to university studies in Physics, Material Sciences, or Electrical Engineering is desired. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Desirable industry experience includes semiconductor wafer fab equipment, vacuum coating and plasma processes, power supplies (DC, AC, and RF), and induction heating.Pay Range: $60,000 to $90,000Supplement Pay: Commission/Performance BonusTRUMPF is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
