Job Summary:



As a Solution professional at Belden, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive solution strategies for existing and emerging complex customer and market use cases.

Together with key stakeholders in Belden Sales and Customer Innovation Centers, product managers and key customers, you'll shape and complement the broader organization: product management and architecture strategy by envisioning and creating market and customer solutions that span across a multitude of products and technologies.

You will drive the creation of premium quality technical and marketing collateral, such as white papers and solution architecture descriptions. Your responsibilities also include the dissemination of knowledge on solutions, market and technology trends within the organization (sales, marketing, product management and engineering) as well as with key customers and partners.

You'll collaborate with an international team of talented R&D and sales engineers, researchers, and product managers.



Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Build product and solution architectures around key / critical use cases
  
• Align product roadmaps with product managers to ensure support for architectures
  
• Identify and understand key technology and market shifts that will influence today and future architectures
  
• Create premium technical and marketing collateral (e.g. technical white papers)
  
• Continually develop and evolve solution architectures together with key customers, sales and product management
  
  
  
  
  Required Skills and Experience
  
  
  
  
  • 
    
  • BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Science or other engineering/technical degree
    
  • 3+ years of experience in highly technical roles such as technical product management, R&D or comparable
    
  • Strong experience working within complex technical architectures
    
  • Experience in mapping aspects of technologies and products to tangible customer value
    
  • Experience in understanding, leveraging and building technical and product interrelations
    
  • Demonstrated track record of success
    
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    
  • Ability to convey complex visions and to inspire
