Position Overview: We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced LSS Construction Manager to lead the integration and installation of life safety systems for a mission-critical semiconductor project in Santa Clara, CA. This full-time, onsite position requires an individual with a strong background in construction management and expertise in life safety systems design and implementation. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the planning, installation, and commissioning of life safety systems including fire alarms, sprinkler systems, emergency lighting, and other safety-related installations to ensure compliance with all applicable codes and regulations. Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure the seamless integration of life safety systems into the overall project design and execution. Conduct regular inspections and testing of life safety systems to guarantee proper functionality and adherence to safety standards. Maintain comprehensive documentation of installation processes, inspections, and compliance with safety regulations. Manage project timelines and budgets while ensuring that quality and safety are prioritized throughout the construction process. Provide training and support to construction teams and facility managers on the proper use and maintenance of life safety systems. Act as the primary point of contact for all life safety system-related inquiries and issues on the project site. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications in life safety systems are a plus. A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, specifically within mission-critical or semiconductor environments. In-depth knowledge of life safety codes, standards, and best practices. Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and coordinate diverse teams. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
