OverviewSUMMARY: The Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager in achieving company goals through driving sales, developing talent, and executing store operations. It is essential that the Assistant Store Manager represents the brand professionally, demonstrates exceptional customer service, and communicates a consistent message to all team members.

Qualifications

• 
  
• At least 2 years of managerial experience in a specialty retail store with relevant traffic and volume preferred
  
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and adaptability to additional software
  
• Broad knowledge of the retail landscape
  
• Availability to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
  
• Commitment to two store closings per week, including one on Friday or Saturday
  
• Ability to use retail POS systems and inventory scanners
  
• Ability to make change using US currency
  
• Ability to interpret moderately complex financial reports
  
• High School Diploma or GED required
  
• Ability to perform detailed tasks with minimal supervision
  
• Problem-solving skills for complex situations, including difficult clients
  
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  
• Strong interpersonal skills and relationship-building ability
  
• Ability to communicate ideas clearly via email and reports
  
  Work Environment

  • Ability to lift heavy packages and perform loading/unloading tasks
    
  • Reach overhead, bend, kneel, and carry items as needed
    
  • Stand and walk for extended periods
    
  • Lift up to 50 lbs safely
    
  • Perform store maintenance tasks (sweeping, vacuuming, trash removal)
    
  • Use ladders and step stools
    
  • Perform repetitive motions (hanging, folding, ringing up customers)
    
  • Exercise caution with difficult customers and transient individuals
    
  • Moderate to loud noise level
    
  • Adult content environment
