The Art and Science Lab team powers some of the most well-known
and widely used dating apps in the world. We're looking for a
Director of Product to lead a critical area within one of Match
Group's top brands. You'll join a deeply cross-functional team and
work closely with leaders across Product, Design, and Engineering.
This is a high-impact role focused on building and scaling core
user experiences that shape how millions of people connect every
day.When it comes to dating, the connection starts online, but the
real magic happens once you meet in real life. We think the same is
true for creating the best platforms, so we work together IRL in
Las Angeles or San Francisco offices three days a week. See you
soon!How You'll Make an Impact:
- Lead product strategy and execution for core surfaces within
one of Match Group's top apps.
- Directly manage junior PMs.
- Own the full product lifecycle-from helping shape vision with
design to writing specs, collaborating with cross-functional
partners, and shipping consistently.
- Build trusted relationships with engineering and design
partners, and guide the team through both day-to-day
decision-making and longer-term planning.
- Help define and evolve product development culture, with a
focus on high-quality delivery and continuous learning.
- Navigate technical and organizational complexity with
pragmatism and clarity.
- Uplevel product craft across the team, mentoring PMs and
helping drive stronger fundamentals.
- Contribute to company-wide priorities by aligning your work
with shared business goals and collaborating across teams.We Could
Be a Match if You Have:
- 8+ years of product management experience, including leadership
roles in high-growth consumer tech.
- A track record of building and scaling mobile-first products
with strong user engagement and UX quality.
- Experience leading through ambiguity and complexity-especially
in high-stakes, high-visibility areas.
- Excellent collaboration skills, particularly with engineering
and design.
- A strong product sense and the ability to advocate for users
while balancing speed, quality, and tradeoffs.
- A history of driving outcomes, not just output-with the data
and stories to back it up.
- Comfort working in a hybrid environment (3 days per week
in-office in LA or SF).$212,500 - $270,000 a yearThe compensation
range listed above is representative of the base salary
offered.Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position,
candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related
skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business
considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary range is
reflective of a position based in Los Angeles, Palo Alto, or San
Francisco. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment
(according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is
granted to work outside of the location listed in this
