Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This
opportunity is for licensed School Psychologists to support K-12
students in a large urban school district based in San Francisco,
CA. The assignment runs through June 3, 2026. The role focuses on
providing psychological services that promote student learning and
well-being in an inclusive educational environment.
Responsibilities include: - Conducting comprehensive psychological
assessments to identify student needs - Collaborating with
educators, families, and specialists to develop appropriate
interventions and support plans - Participating in individualized
education program (IEP) meetings and contributing to special
education eligibility determinations - Implementing preventative
and responsive counseling strategies to support student
social-emotional development - Providing consultation and
professional guidance to school staff on behavioral and learning
challenges Ideal candidates will have: - Current licensure as a
School Psychologist (educator credential required; counselors are
not considered) - Experience working within K-12 school settings,
preferably in large or diverse districts - Strong assessment,
counseling, and report-writing skills - Comfort delivering some
services virtually for older students, with the ability to be
onsite the majority of the time - Willingness to travel if needed
to meet district needs This is an on-site, 40-hour per week
contract position, with consideration for hybrid arrangements in
the future. Serving a district with a significant psychological
services department offers a collaborative and resource-rich
