Engineering Project Managers (EPMs) are responsible for working with our software development and multi-functional teams to craft technical project plans and coordinate the execution against the plan-of-record (POR) from concept to launch. EPMs facilitate good communication and offer multiple levels of status across a wide spectrum of individual contributors to executive management. In addition, they will drive day-to day program activities, system build planning, execution & risk assessments to meet overall program objectives for development projects. • 5+ years of industry experience & project management experience.
• Experience in developing Health products preferred but not required.
• Excellent verbal and written presentation skills with experience presenting to senior executives.
• Experience with consumer devices and their life cycles.
• Expertise in setting up project timeline and work breakdown structures across multiple functional teams.
• Ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience.
• Stellar leadership skills and ability to inspire team members
• Understands and deals well with rapid development cycles; remains flexible and calm in the face of uncertainty.
• You are able to fit in well with a team, understand capabilities and priorities while encouraging a collaborative environment. Description In this role, you will lead the software development for Health R&D projects with multi-functional partners ranging from Design, Hardware, Data Science, Engineering, Regulatory and Clinical organizations. You'll improve the product development cycle by looking for patterns, offering standard methodologies and implementing change to ensure tight coordination and communication.- Develop technical project plan and roadmap for software and product.- Handle and track development schedule and deliverables.- Identify and prioritize project tasks, interdependencies, and risks.- Deliver executive communication/presentations and drive the decision-making process.- Effectively and consistently communicate overall program status to the project team and management.- Identify and resolve conflicts, inter-dependencies and program issues quickly and efficiently- Run retrospective to identify and implement process improvements. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $150,000 and $269,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
