Job Description:
A company is looking for a Medical Oncology Nurse responsible
for supporting medicine requests through effective relationship
management and clinical review.
Key Responsibilities
Obtain and present clinical information to the medical director for
therapy decisions
Facilitate peer-to-peer calls and approve requests meeting clinical
review criteria
Maintain accurate records of interventions and promote continuity
of care
Required Qualifications and Education
Bachelor's degree or relevant experience required
Current unrestricted Registered Nurse licensure recognized in the
United States
Minimum 2 years of experience in direct patient care or relevant
educational attainment
Oncology nursing experience preferred, with knowledge of Medicare
and insurance guidelines
Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills needed for clinical
information assessment
