Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Occupational Therapist (OT) position is available in a school
setting located in Lakeport, CA. This contract role offers the
opportunity to provide comprehensive OT services to K-12 students
with caseloads under 50, covering a range of mild to severe needs.
The position is a backfill role, starting as soon as possible and
lasting through the end of the school year (EOSY). Responsibilities
include conducting evaluations, developing and implementing
individualized treatment plans, collaborating with teachers and
other staff, and supporting students' functional participation in
the school environment. The OT will play a crucial role in
enhancing students' motor skills, sensory processing, and overall
independence to facilitate academic success. Desired qualifications
and experience: Current Occupational Therapy license with
school-based experience Familiarity with K-12 student populations
across a variety of needs Ability to manage a caseload of under 50
students Experience with mild to severe student cases Strong
communication and collaboration skills while working with educators
and families Flexibility in adapting to the specific demands of the
