Summary/Objective The HR Business Partner is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior HR leadership in supporting designated geographic regions. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, on-boarding, policy implementation, affirmative action, and employment law compliance. -- HR Business Partner Duties:

• Administers human resources plans and procedures for company employees in the US, APAC, and Canada
• You will gain a deep knowledge of your internal client base to provide day-to-day operational solution driven support.
• You will coach management on employee relations issues, discipline matters, and promotion/transfer/termination discussions
• Assists in rolling out manager and leadership training and supporting career growth for employees.
• You will analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the international HR team to develop solutions, programs, and policies
• Stay up to date on legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance
• Assists in development and implementation of HR procedures and programs
• Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.
• Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
• Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment. Requirements:
  • 5-8 years of progressive HR Business Partner, preferably in a technology company (prior HR generalist/ operations experience preferred)
  • Experience managing global relationships with a wide range of stakeholders across America, APAC and Canada
  • Customer-focused attitude, with high level of professionalism and discretion
  • Experience supporting C-suite leaders for GTM and/or Engineering a plus
  • Experience with Lattice, or other Performance Management Software
  • Experience with Workday a plus
  • Understanding of HR best practices and current regulations
  • In-depth experience as a Business Partner who actively engages with their client group to ensure HR is fully integrated with the business providing a consultative approach
  • Sound judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in a fast-growing startup environment a big plus
  • You're adaptable and can think on your feet; when faced with new challenges or tough conversations, you face them head-on
  • Expert knowledge and understanding of employee benefit plans and leave administration including EEO, FLSA, FMLA and CFRA, ADA, Workers' Compensation, COBRA HR Certifications?
