The Senior Director of Human Resources is responsible for leading day to day activities of the global HR & Recruiting Teams in support of the Tenstorrent Senior Leadership. The Senior HR Director will drive the planning, direction, and coordination of policies, activities, and staff in HR & Recruiting. The goal of the role is to attract, retain, develop and motivate Team Members in accordance with policies/ procedures and all applicable laws and regulations, while limiting liabilities and promoting a safe, fair, positive work environment. At the same time, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the organizations mission and talent strategy.

  • Manage the global HR & Recruitment teams and overall HR functionality across multiple countries, helping to provide support and clarity for competing priorities and key deliverables for the Company.
  • Design and build human resources program and policies for a strong global HR infrastructure including, but not limited to: recruitment, compensation, benefits and leave management; recognition, engagement, training and development, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent
  • Provide leadership support for the Executive and management team and across HR & Recruiting, ensuring role clarity, efficient operating structure and appropriate communication and connectivity across the Company and HR.
  • Provide tools and guidelines to support and implement policies and procedures, domestic and international employment agreements, development of HRIS, employee manuals, benefit summaries and compensation guidelines; Maintain a high-quality central HR function, including appropriate technology, systems and tools, including the use of metrics and people data to inform key decisions
  • Point of contact for all Audit, Risk, Compliance and internal/external controls and inquiries.
  • Other responsibilities assigned from time to time Qualifications
    • Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive responsibility in Human Resources is required; understanding of interrelationships between payroll, HRIS, benefits and other human resources disciplines is required
    • Leadership and people management experience, particularly in building a team that is organized, efficient, knowledgeable, agile and empowered
    • Ability to promote a culture of trust, collaboration, and good problem solving across the HR team, particularly in a hybrid working environment
    • Experience driving a whole HR organization being built from the ground up
    • Strong PM skills to drive various projects like HRIS tool implementation, compliance training tools, etc.
    • Experience with HRIS payroll processes strongly preferred
    • Strong execution skills to drive solutions to finality, results oriented, able to bring along key stakeholders critical to adoption
    • Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple diverse projects while maintaining accuracy and timeliness with deliverables
    • Data-driven with strong analytical and problem-solving and communication skills
    • Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization and employees
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
    • Ability to turn ambiguity into specificity.
    • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations in North American
    • Ability to quickly learn the organizational dynamics, tools and processes
    • Be a pace setter on driving a whole HR organization being built from the ground up
