Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner
(HRBP) who will be a strategic partner to executive and senior
leadership within the assigned business unit(s) or function(s). The
HRBP is a highly trusted and influential partner that delivers
value to business clients and stakeholders through skilled coaching
and consultation in the areas of employee relations and performance
management, talent planning, organizational and leadership
development, and change management. The HRBP collaborates closely
with senior leaders to understand the needs of the business,
identify gaps in all areas of talent, and leverage these insights
to develop an effective, business-aligned workforce strategy.
Additionally, the HRBP partners cross-functionally with various HR
Centers of Excellence and business stakeholders to collaborate and
deliver effective people and organizational strategies and
solutions. As a culture steward, the HRBP is responsible for

enhancing leadership capability and promoting an engaged,
values-driven culture that enables excellence in our people and
delivers consistent business results and growth. Key
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Utilize deep business acumen to build credibility and trust
with clients and anticipate their needs.
- Engage in HR program delivery, working closely with management
to implement at the business group level.
- Enable and drive large and small-scale changes in
organizations, and monitor and assess the effectiveness of
strategies implemented.
- Engage with business leaders and HR partners in creating a
clear, compelling, and business-aligned workforce strategy;
recommend holistic talent solutions and solicit the right resources
to drive initiatives.
- Drive employee engagement and organizational health, and
integrate with partners responsible for Strategic Employee
Relations
- Provide real-time and strategic employee relations management
through effective triage, stakeholder management, and thorough
assessments using independent judgment.
- Coach managers and employees on performance management, career
counseling, corrective action process, and workplace issues,
including legal and regulatory compliance issues.
- Analyze data, documentation, and situations to evaluate and
influence employees and management regarding employee relations,
team effectiveness, and culture.
- Coach, mentor, and advise employees at all levels to help drive
growth and development.
- Champion diversity initiatives at the business group level and
help execute employee engagement initiatives.
- Contribute to and advise the HR senior management team.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Business consulting skills: Excellent interpersonal
communication skills (both written and verbal) and strong
consulting skills-e.g., asking questions, contributing ideas,
challenging and promoting thinking, and clarifying critical issues.
Demonstrated stakeholder management, leadership, and executive
presence. Skilled coach, mentor, and advisor with the ability to
draw on experience, data, and research to deliver a holistic set of
recommendations. Able to maintain a balanced perspective and remain
calm in difficult or ambiguous situations.
- Influence: Demonstrated success working cross-functionally and
vertically with senior leaders and executives, and partnering with
functions across HR, to influence and motivate change - aligning
the people strategy with business goals and growth.
- Relationship Development and Management: Demonstrated ability
to build trusting relationships with business partners, providing
both practical and strategic guidance. Solutions-focused,
empathetic, and collaborative approach to implementing and
improving people programs and processes to support the
business.
- Systems Thinking: Demonstrated skills to connect seemingly
disparate information and stitch it together in a coherent set of
considerations and actions to be taken. Strong expertise in
developing solutions based upon facts and data analytics.
- Acumen: Strong understanding of business, HR, Finance, and
Legal acumen. Deep knowledge of HR Business Partner practices
including organization design, compensation, performance
management, organizational change, executive relationship building,
etc. Able to apply experience and knowledge of best practices
within the context of an organization's processes, structures, and
capabilities to develop holistic recommendations.
- Organization and Talent Design: Understand the connection
between the organization's structure, processes, rewards, metrics,
and talent and how they impact business strategy and results. Able
to ask the appropriate questions to assess
business/organizational/talent needs and clarify underlying causes
from symptoms.
- A positive 'can-do' attitude with high personal accountability
for results.
- Able to successfully navigate complexity, ambiguity, and
pressure to get things done in a dynamic, start-up type
culture.
Qualifications
- Must possess a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree
in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development,
Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field with 6+
years related experience, OR must possess an MBA, Master of
Science, or Master of Arts degree with 4+ years related
experience.
- Experience working with senior and executive leaders.
This position requires the employee to prove that they have
received the COVID-19 vaccine or have a valid religious or medical
reason not to be vaccinated.
