Job Description:

Our client, one of the worlds leading automotive manufacturers is hiring for an Infotainment Software Engineer to join their team working on their cruise assist and highway pilot features development in Santa Clara, CA.
**This is an on-going contract to start with the opportunity for extension or conversion**This Infotainment Software Engineer will be responsible for supporting the development of their advanced driver-assistance system features for series production.

• 40% of the role is advanced driver-assistance system feature creation
• 40% of the role is software development and integration
• 20% of the role is documentation and project management
  Key Responsibilities:
  • Create scenarios for each feature and generate requirement specification for software development
  • Create feature model in MatLab/Simulink and check the same in simulation environment
  • Verify model and translate the requirement in software (C ++)
  • Perform integration testing in HIL/SIL lab and after successful testing the same need to be verified and validated in target vehicle environment.
    Required Skills and Experience:
    • 5+ years of experience with infotainment/advanced driver-assistance development
    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (computer science or comparable)
    • Proven experience with advanced driver-assistance system design which includes;
    • Scenario creation
    • Customer function creation and modeling
    • Experience in generating test catalog and integration testing in driver-assistance system
    • Embedded SW and implementation experience
    • Experience programming in Python and/or C/C++
