    Are you interested in working with AI /cloud disruptors and strategic partners to deliver amazing performance on Intel architecture? We are looking for software systems engineers with skills in software and hardware to work on software application stacks. If you enjoy innovation, navigating complex solutions, and working with both partners and customers, then this is the role for you.In this role, you will analyze and optimize software stacks by working with disruptive ISVs (Independent Software Vendors) and strategic partners by both optimizing their applications as well as making sure that any underlying subcomponent (framework, cloud software service/infrastructure, database, or opensource) is effectively optimized on Intel Architecture (IA).This position requires expertise in software engineering and optimization/development skills in re-architecting applications for performance. Development of innovative algorithms on IA is encouraged, and the experience to implement and prove them on upcoming new hardware and in large computing environments for best performance. You will have the opportunity to collaborate and innovate with senior engineers on leading-edge technologies both from within Intel as well as with some of the most disruptive ISVs in the cloud ecosystem.Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
    Working with internal engineering teams and external partners, customers, and ISVs to deliver optimized AI solutions using Intel products with the goal of driving the adoption of Intel products.
    Supporting Tier 1 ISVs on AI workloads by partnering with application engineers. Pathfinding and providing technical input on disruptive/inorganic opportunities in the rapidly evolving cloud and AI ecosystem Optimizing performance of AI models through deep knowledge and expertise of AI frameworks, algorithms, models, and related hardware. Researching, developing, and adjusting new or existing AI models, code, parameters, and/or quantization to address issues and modify operations to enhance performance. Partnering with AI algorithm and framework engineers as needed to optimize end-to-end AI models to Intel hardware features.Serving as a trusted technical advisor and providing technical enabling. Partnering with Intel software and hardware product development teams to accelerate and optimize future products in AI and HPC domains by leading application preenabling. Delivering competitive and differentiated benchmark collateral and identifying and driving key workloads into product requirements, and architecting innovative projection methodologies and tools. Partner with other performance engineers and developers to develop best practices, mentor upcoming engineers, author blogs and white papers, and present internally, at conferences, and directly to partners and customers.The ideal candidate will have the following skills in addition to the qualifications listed below.     Qualifications

    You must possess the below minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

    Education Requirement:
    Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field plus 6 years of industry work experience or
    Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field plus 4 years of industry work experience
    PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field plus 2 years of related industry experience

    Minimum Required Qualifications:
    6 plus years of experience in computer architecture to including multiprocessor experience.
    6 plus years of programming experience in C/C++, Java, etc.
    5 plus years of experience in Linux operating system.
    4 plus years of experience using AI Frameworks such as Tensorflow, Pytorch, and optimizing workloads.

    Experience in machine learning concepts- supervised/unsupervised learning, training, inference, traditional machine learning techniques-regression, classification, decision trees including gradient boosted trees, clustering, etc.

    Additional Preferred Qualifications:
    Experience in concepts of performance engineering and system-level analysis.
    Experience in cloud software stacks, database architecture (relational or NoSQL), virtualization, and containers.
    Experience in tackling problems of load, scale, and optimizations of large-scale enterprise/cloud deployments.
    Experience in cloud-scale and micro/macro-services architecture.
    Experience in operator fusion, graph- and kernel-level optimizations in deep learning frameworks (e.g., those in oneDNN, cuDNN, Eigen, openBLAS, etc.), understanding of graph compilers - TVM, XLA, Glow, etc.Inside this Business Group
