We do this today to build a better tomorrow.Role PurposeAs the Sr. Technical Product Manager for Clinical Care Solutions, you will be a member of the Clinical Care Solutions International Business Team. The Sr. Technical Product Manager is a critical role ensuring the success of our vision to improve patient outcomes. Under the direction of the International Business Leader for Clinical Care Solutions, the Technical Product Manager will execute on the product roadmap and own the delivery of the product's features in accordance with the end customer needs, & the overarching product strategy laid out by the international business team. This position will be responsible for translating the customer's needs into technical requirements and prioritizing the backlog in preparation for the development team. They will lead cross-functional teams' alignment on the execution across a product and will regularly interact with UX, Engineering, and Data Science to ship innovative solutions to customers. -Your responsibilities will require you to---Product Manage the Clinical Care Solutions portfolio targeted at the provider setting; and its respective capabilitiesWork with Clinicians, Nurses, IT administrators in the provider settings, as well as broader clinical care delivery teams, to understand the customer pain points, and solution opportunities that are most impactful for the acute care delivery.Deeply understand the end user use cases, and the respective product requirements; translating these requirements into user stories and system level requirements for the RIS Architecture and SW engineering teams, as well as the Data Services teams.Collaborate with the International Business Leader, and Business Product Managers to translate the business requirements into user stories and system requirements, while maintaining a groomed product backlog for implementation by the scrum teams.Own the sprint grooming sessions and participate in the agile scrum ceremonies.Communicate with the scrum teams to help scope and prioritize the user stories.Manage day-to-day priorities with engineering teams and escalate trade-offs with stakeholders.Work closely with the UI/UX team to design elegant user experiences that help solve customers' pain points.Participate in daily standups, release planning, and retrospectivesProvide the voice of the user to the development teams and ensure that teams have clear understanding of what they are developing and the value it deliversExecute on the product roadmap and translate high level strategies into manageable stories and product backlogParticipate in internal workshops to define and initiate projects, assisting the Engineering team to identify dependenciesSupport the development teams during each release cycle to clarify requirements, make priority calls, review test plans and determine a release scheduleAs a Sr. Technical Product Manager for Clinical Care Solutions, you bring:Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, MIS or other technical degree.2+ years' experience as an Agile/Scrum product owner or Technical product managerExperience with JIRA or a similar backlog management tool.Experience shipping an enterprise, SaaS, or health-related technology product (for internal or external use) is strongly preferred.Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with a wide range of stakeholders with varying degrees of technical knowledge.Self-starter comfortable working in a rapidly evolving fast paced environmentStrong planning, organization, and collaborative skillsA willingness to take the lead in new projects, be seen as a decision maker and drive projects to a successful outcomeAbility to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical team members. Understand the intersection between clinical healthcare, technology applications, and trends.Personally motivated, creative thinker and accountable team player. Demonstrated ability to respectfully provide and receive feedbackPrevious experience working on clinical workflow, informatics or decision support solutions informatics is requiredPrevious experience building commercial software products for clinical end users is required, with a preference for experience building solutions that target critical care settingsDeep knowledge in cloud-based technologies is requiredSuccessful prior experience working in healthcare software solutions in Health IT, MedTech or Biotech industry settings preferred. -Good understanding of software quality management systems, regulated software in healthcare and agile - - - - - - -Experience of product development processes and methodologies (for agile software development)Able to foster positive partnerships through effective influencing, negotiation and conflict management skills to achieve alignment up and down the organizationCommitment to the organization's new way of working through greater collaboration and breaking down of siloesLeadershipThe successful candidate will build and provide effective leadership for the technical cross functional team's that they work with, in a manner that is consistent with the Roche Values and leadership capabilities.
