EMBEDDED SOFTWARE ENGINEERCrossBar was founded in 2010 to commercialize a radically different approach to non-volatile memory called ReRAM. A unique memory technology that can be integrated inside a system-on-chip or produced as a standalone memory chip, CrossBar ReRAM is playing an important role in enabling this new world. We are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer for developing the next generation technology. Job ResponsibilityDevelop and maintain embedded software for 32-bit ARM processor complex.Develop and maintain comprehensive memory test and characterization platform with code in Python, Lua, C.Work closely with various functional teams to architect solutions that meet requirements of both internal and external clients.Develop and maintain Linux device drivers, embedded Linux code.Job requirements/Preference Minimum 4-5 years of experience in embedded software engineering or similar roleBS degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.4-5 years of experience with development and troubleshooting on embedded targetsDemonstrated expertise in Python.Excellent programming experience in C or C++Familiarity with software version control, defect tracking tools, and peer reviewGood knowledge of Linux device drivers and embedded LinuxExperience with block chain a plus.Experience working with memory a plus.Critical thinker and problem-solving skills Team player Good time-management skills Great interpersonal and communication skills CrossBar, Inc. offers medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, STD, LTD insurance programs, 401K Plan, and Paid Time Off.
